Small groups meet for breakfast beforehand from 9:00am to 10.00am. We have one half day Saturday at the beginning of January to debrief the Christmas break for whoever needs it.

CURRICULUM

The academic instruction at Release Academy is taken primarily from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) online DVD format. Bethel (Redding California) started its school in 1998 and has developed an excellent model of training that It is taught by apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. We are privileged to be able to use their teaching material here at Release Academy in Bristol.

The curriculum is planned and structured taking into account the emotional and spiritual development of the students. Lessons are supported by:

  • Lecture Notes

  • Discussion & Activation

  • Review Questions and Answers

In addition visiting teachers will include recent graduates, mission trips and speakers from Bethel Church.

Students will learn how to hear God's voice, renew their spiritual lens, use the language of Heaven, and lots more.

LEARNING PRINCIPLES

Presence of God: Everything is connected to the presence of God. RA is a Holy Spirit-driven ministry school where students of all ages and nationalities from many different churches can come to learn how to live in the Kingdom of God and extend its borders through a supernatural lifestyle.rHands-on Training: Students receive hands-on-training and experience along with academic understanding. This creates a “teach-and-activate” culture where all students are expected to take risks to stretch their faith and grow in the supernatural and in their understanding of God. RA believes that each verse of the Bible is an invitation into an experience with the Lord and students are challenged to live the New Testament.

Encourage Risk-Taking: As the school progresses and the students begin to gain confidence and experience within the safety of the classroom, they are sent on Adventures into the neighbourhood, the shopping malls, or local social enterprises. When students take their supernatural ministry into the community, it gets pretty wild and exciting! They return to class to share testimonies, give thanks and debrief, always cheering each other on as they share.

IS RELEASE ACADEMY RIGHT FOR ME?

Release Academy is designed to be a ministry training centre where our students embrace their true identity, learn the values of a Kingdom culture and walk in the authority and power of the King. It is an extremely fast-paced season of schooling but the training will equip students for a powerful and fruitful life and ministry.

There may also be opportunities to live in one of the LoveBristol Community houses whilst at the school(places are limited).

RA will be a transformational and life-changing experience, but it might not be suitable for everyone. References will be needed for every applicant.

Release Academy is likely right for you if:

  • You are hungry to see more of the power of God in your life and want to live a naturally supernatural lifestyle, with family ,friends, whether at work or on holiday.

  • You want to experience more of the Presence of God.

  • You have a passion to see the impossible made possible.

  • You desire greater intimacy in your relationship with God and to live in open community with others.

  • You are prepared to be challenged in your thinking and willing to take more risks for Jesus.

  • You want to bring influence and change to the systems and structures that are in place in our cities across the world.
